Sherman Elementary School's Sharks Until Dark is a program of Bay Area Community Resources - a 501c3 non-profit organization. We support the school and community in a variety of ways with our programs. At SUD Expanded Learning, we are strong believers in the ability of our youth to succeed. Our program offerings and activities are designed to help our youth become resilient learners and reach their goals.

We are currently offering one program at this time: Sherman Sharks Until Dark After School (SUD) on the Sherman campus

Sharks Until Dark: Sherman After School
Fall 2022-Spring 2023
SUD offers a verity of after school classes that all our students are able to participate in once joining the program. We focus on STEM, Arts, Outdoor Education, Cooking, Recreation and Social Emotional Learning.

Additional After School Enrichments
SUD is currently partnered with two additional enrichment programs, Spanish4Fun and Mechanic's Institute Chess. These classes are not included in regular SUD programming, but are available at an additional cost. For fee-paying families, we provide a discount to SUD students, and they are no cost to families who qualify for Free & Reduced Lunch.

For many years, Sherman Elementary Schools "Sharks Until Dark" has offered crucial and enriching programs to our youth. We provide daily homework & academic support, engaging classes including a partnership with After School Music Academy!

SUD After School Program 2022-2023
SUD is a comprehensive on site after school program at Sherman. We offer engaging enrichments, academic support, and social emotional learning.

Enrollment for 2022-23 school year is still open, however most age groups are currently full. If you would like to enroll/join the waitlist you may do so here

Program Costs for Full Fee-Paying Families:
5 Days A Week:
Kinder Academy: $500/Month
1st-5th Grade: $460/Month
3 Days A Week:
Kinder Academy: $350/Month
1st-5th Grade: $300/Month
2 Days A Week:
Kinder Academy: $275/Month
1st-5th Grade: $225/Month

Income-Based Sliding Scale Rates Available

Scholarship Rates Available for Families Who Qualify for Free & Reduced Lunch. You can apply for reduced rates with the Multipurpose Family Income Form via School Cafe
